It’s hard to describe the wave of emotions that came over me when I read through POLITICO’s report yesterday stating that the U.S. Supreme Court is FINALLY poised to reverse Roe v. Wade.
My first reaction was utter elation.
After all, this is what the pro-life movement has fought to achieve for 49 years since Roe! With the Supreme Court out of the way, we can finally pass state laws abolishing abortion!
MILLIONS of lives can be saved.
But that feeling of excitement was quickly crushed when I began to think about WHY this draft decision was leaked by an Abortion Lobby ally on the U.S. Supreme Court.
What if you and I come this far only have to our hopes dashed at the last second?

Make no mistake.
This is a last-ditch effort by pro-abortion forces to BULLY and INTIMIDATE at least one U.S. Supreme Court Justice into backing down on reversing Roe.
If the reports I’m reading are to be believed, the Draft Decision reversing Roe is supported by Justices Alito (the author of the draft), Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett.
Chief Justice John Roberts has not signed on – at least yet.
That means if just ONE Supreme Court Justice gets cold feet, Roe v. Wade will stand.
That’s exactly what this leak was designed to accomplish.
The leaker – who some reports say is a clerk for a pro-abortion Supreme Court Justice – wants the media and pro-abortion forces to bully the Court into backing down.
If you and I stay silent, it may work – especially if Chief Justice Roberts is working on the inside “cautioning” a Justice or two against going “too far.”
I hope he’s not. But I wouldn’t put anything past him based on the past.
And already, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) are working to turn up the pressure, issuing a joint statement, saying:
“The Republican-appointed Justices’ reported votes to overturn Roe v. Wade would go down as an abomination, one of the worst and most damaging decisions in modern history.”
That’s why YOU need to make YOUR voice heard.

The Abortion Lobby and their pals in the media desperately want the Court to believe Americans want abortion-on-demand . . .
They desperately want the Court to believe that virtually NO ONE wants to see Roe reversed.
They desperately want the Court to believe that pro-lifers’ numbers are small and inconsequential and therefore should be ignored.
But your signature – along with the signatures of hundreds of thousands of other pro-lifers across the country – can help ensure those LIES are exposed for what they are.
This is so critical.
I know judges are supposed to rule solely on the law, and are supposed to ignore media pressure.
But if that were truly the case, the Supreme Court would have reversed Roe long ago.
They’re human beings just like everyone else. And human beings are vulnerable to pressure.

Let’s be clear. This has NEVER happened before at the U.S. Supreme Court;
>>> Pray for peace and safety for Students for Life Action’s team. Within hours of the Draft Decision’s leak, the Supreme Court began putting up barricades, fearing violence from pro-abortion protesters. These are people who KILL little babies after all.
