PROTECTION AT CONCEPTION Petition

To My U.S. Representative

Whereas: Through the Dobbs v. Jackson decision, the U.S. Supreme Court has finally relegated the travesty of Roe v. Wade to the ash heap of history; and

Whereas: As Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson, “the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives;” and

Whereas: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is blocking the Life at Conception Act which would end abortion-on-demand by recognizing the scientific fact that life begins at conception and provide stiff penalties for abortionists; and

Whereas: If 218 Representatives sign onto U.S. Rep. Bob Good’s (R-VA-5) discharge petition, it would override Speaker Pelosi’s blockade and force a full floor vote on the Life at Conception Act;

Therefore: As your constituent, I insist you co-sponsor H.Res. 1167, the discharge petition to bring the Life at Conception Act to the floor and vote for protection at conception.
