The Tar Heel State is on the verge of passing SB 378, a simple, 13-line bill that would strip Planned Parenthood of 100% of taxpayer funding through the Medicaid program.
However, Governor Josh Stein (D) – who has supported abortion throughout his career – has the power to veto the proposed law.

Whereas: SB 378 is a simple, 13-line bill that would strip Planned Parenthood of 100% of taxpayer funding through the Medicaid program; and
Whereas: The North Carolina House passed SB 378 on October 22, 2025, and the proposed law has now been returned to the Senate for final confirmation; and
Whereas: The Senate is expected to approve it and send it to your desk when the legislature returns on November 17, 2025; and
Whereas: Republicans are only ONE seat shy of a veto-proof supermajority – and the 2026 Midterm Elections are approaching fast; and
Whereas: North Carolinians have made it clear that we don’t want our tax dollars supporting abortion, and we will vote accordingly in 2026 to reflect this!.
Therefore: I demand that you do the right thing and sign SB 378 into law once it comes across your desk – or else face the full force of the Pro-Life Movement on Election Day!
