Petition to: My U.S. Representative and Senators

Whereas: The Abortion Lobby’s pet politicians have introduced the so-called “The Equal Access to Abortion Coverage” Act (better called the Forced Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Act) which would repeal the Hyde Amendment; and

Whereas: The Hyde Amendment blocks direct taxpayer funding of abortion except in cases of rape or when the life of the mother is at stake; and

Whereas: The Hyde Amendment has been in place for over four decades with bipartisan support; and

Whereas: Repeal of the Hyde Amendment is the first step to codifying the Abortion Lobby’s dream of taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand up until the moment of birth; and

Whereas: More taxpayer funding for abortion leads to more abortion;

Therefore: As your constituent, I insist you protect taxpayers’ conscience by defending the Hyde Amendment and voting against the Forced Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Act and ANY legislation that would force our hard-earned tax dollars to fund abortion.
