The U.S. Senate keeps listening to an unelected, Democrat-appointed Parliamentarian instead of YOU, the voter.

In the last budget fight, the U.S. House passed a 10-year DEFUNDING of Planned Parenthood.

But in the Senate? That got cut to just ONE YEAR . . .

Why?

Because Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough said so.

Her ruling wasn’t binding. It wasn’t law. It was a recommendation.

But GOP leadership caved – and Planned Parenthood walked away with just a scratch when they could’ve been bled dry of the hundreds of millions of YOUR taxpayer dollars they take EVERY YEAR.

It’s time to say ENOUGH!

Whereas: The U.S. Constitution grants Congress — not unelected advisors — the sole authority to determine federal spending and budgetary priorities; and

Whereas: The Senate Parliamentarian — currently Elizabeth MacDonough, a Democrat-appointed former advisor to Vice President Al Gore — has reportedly obstructed pro-life legislation, including efforts to fully DEFUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD & BIG ABORTION; and

Whereas: During reconciliation of the “Big, Beautiful” Budget Bill, the House-passed 10-year DEFUNDING of Planned Parenthood was reduced to a ONE-YEAR pause based on the Parliamentarian’s recommendation; and

Whereas: The Parliamentarian’s rulings are advisory only and may be overruled by a simple majority vote of the U.S. Senate; and

Whereas: Continuing to obey the opinions of an unelected Senate lawyer over the will of the people undermines representative government and enables pro-abortion forces to maintain power through procedural technicalities.

Therefore: We the undersigned urge Senate Majority Leader John Thune to immediately FIRE Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough and appoint a new Parliamentarian who will respect the constitutional authority of elected lawmakers to enact the will of the pro-life majority.
