Whereas: Due to your inaction, Senator Passidomo, Florida has the 5th highest abortion rate in the nation – making Florida the only Republican state in the top 10; and
Whereas: Despite Florida Governor Ron DeSantis pledging to sign pro-life legislation and the fact that so-called “pro-life” Republicans hold an 84-35 majority in the house and a 28-12 majority in the Senate 90,000+ preborn boys and girls are being put to death every year in the Sunshine State; and
Whereas: The 15-week abortion ban passed in 2022 allowed over 90% of abortions in Florida to continue and the number of out-of-state abortions Florida abortionists commit is up 11.6% over the past year;
Therefore: I insist you stop blocking life-saving bills and do everything in your power to PASS abortion prevention laws including a Life at Conception Act.
