WHEREAS: President Trump has nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court to fill a vacancy left by Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s passing; and
WHEREAS: The President – being elected to office for four years – has a responsibility to ensure the U.S. Supreme Court is not left with a vacancy on the bench; and
WHEREAS: Since the Court’s infamous Roe v. Wade decision that “legalized” abortion in all fifty states, more than 61 million preborn babies have been killed at the hands of abortionists; and
WHEREAS: Confirming Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court would be a blow to Roe v. Wade, all but cementing the beginning of overturning the Supreme Court’s Roe decision from 1973; and
WHEREAS: Pro-abortion politicians – including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) – have already issued political threats to the nation if the Senate confirms Amy Barrett to the bench, out of fear that Roe’s days are numbered;
THEREFORE: As your constituent, I urge you to vote to CONFIRM Judge Amy Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court in keeping with the constitution.
