Last fall pro-abortion legislators in the South Carolina state senate, led by turncoat Tom Davis, killed a Life at Conception Act. Because of so-called “pro-life Republican” Tom Davis’ actions an estimated 5,000 additional babies will die this year in South Carolina and every year thereafter.
Senator Davis chose to stuff his pockets full of blood money from the Abortion lobby instead of standing up for the lives of South Carolina’s preborn boys and girls.
South Carolina was moving toward saving the lives of generations of innocent babies, and still can, but not unless Tom Davis changes course and stands with pro-life constituents instead of the Abortion Lobby.
The choice is clear, Senator Davis, reverse course immediately on the Life Act Conception Act to save all preborn babies from the violence of abortion, no more excuses.
Whereas: South Carolina had the opportunity to end abortion but you, Senator Davis, led a group of pro-abortion radicals and pushed back against the lifesaving legislation causing it to fail; and
Whereas: South Carolina has solid Republican majorities, who must immediately pass a Life at Conception Act to create the strongest system possible to protect women and the preborn from the predatory abortion industry; and
Whereas: Now is the time to update South Carolina’s abortion laws and eliminate loopholes that leave many preborn babies unprotected; and
Whereas: Every abortion ends a unique human life, worthy of love and respect, and entitled to life and to be treated with dignity, regardless of the circumstances of conception.
Therefore: We call on you, Senator Davis, to reverse course immediately and support a Life at Conception Act and oppose any effort or amendment to weaken it’s language with loopholes that leave classes of preborn babies unprotected.
