Stop Chemical Abortions!

Students for Life has partnered with Rep. Andrew Sorrell to re-file legislation to Ban Chemical abortion in Alabama — HB 261. We’re activating students and supporters of the preborn across Alabama to pass it, so please sign your petition below to add your petition to the tidal wave hitting the legislature over the next few weeks.

To: the Speaker, Rules Committee, and my state legislators

WHEREAS: Chemical abortion pills end the life of a preborn child, and are even more dangerous to women than surgical abortion, causing greater complications; and

WHEREAS: Planned Parenthood has created a phone ap to bring deadly chemical abortion pills to girls across the nation with just a few clicks, with no safeguards or follow-up care in their new “Abortion by Amazon” world; and

WHEREAS: Women will have abortion pills pushed on them as an “easy, confidential option” by predatory abortion providers like Planned Parenthood; and

WHEREAS: The Biden administration has gutted regulations safeguarding women from these pills, which can cause infertility if used improperly, or even be slipped into the drinks of pregnant women;

THEREFORE: I urge you ban these dangerous pills by casting every vote for Rep. Sorrell’s Chemical Abortion Ban as written, and to do everything you can to win it’s passage.
