Stand for Students’ Rights Petition

Governor Ron DeSantis just announced a partnership with Turning Point USA, encouraging high school students to start Club America groups.

He even made it clear: if any student faces resistance from administrators, state officials will intervene to defend their rights.

That’s the kind of leadership Students for Life needs from every governor – including Governor in .

Protecting free speech shouldn’t depend on party lines – it’s a constitutional right that every governor, Republican or Democrat, is sworn to uphold.

That’s why we’re calling on pro-life Americans like you to sign the Stand for Students’ Rights petition to your state governor – urging them to take action like Governor DeSantis and protect the rights of Students for Life groups in every state.

Stand for Students’ Rights Petition

Petition to Gov. in

Whereas: Under the First Amendment, all Americans – even pro-lifers – have the freedom to speak freely and peaceably assemble; and

Whereas: Pro-life students across the nation have faced censorship, discrimination, and retaliation simply for peacefully expressing their belief that every human Life deserves protection; and

Whereas: The Constitution guarantees that no student should be punished, silenced, or excluded for holding or sharing a pro-life viewpoint; and

Whereas: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has demonstrated bold leadership by ensuring that high school students who wish to form Club America groups are free to do so — and that state officials will intervene if their rights are violated; and

Therefore: I, the undersigned citizen of , respectfully urge Governor to:

1. Publicly affirm that students in have the right to form and operate Students for Life groups in their schools without discrimination or delay;

2. Direct state education officials to actively defend students’ constitutional rights to speak for Life on campus; and

3. Take immediate action when those rights are violated — just as Governor DeSantis has pledged to do for Turning Point USA groups in Florida.
